Spread the word about dementia research: an interview with Professor Ashley Baldwin
Dementia research involves a lot of teamwork. Doctors, scientists, researchers, nurses, assistants and, of course, people with dementia all join in.
The more people who get involved in research, the more chance we have of understanding what causes dementia. This will allow us to develop effective treatments, improve care and hopefully one day find a cure.
Professor Ashley Baldwin is a Consultant Psychiatrist at North West Boroughs Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. He is involved in a number of dementia research trials.
Watch the short video interview below to find out why he thinks it’s vital to make as many people aware of of Join Dementia Research as possible.
“Lots of people would get involved if they had the chance, so we need to get the word out there.”
